Every service below is something our technicians do weekly, not occasionally. Each one starts with a proper diagnosis — never a guess dressed up as a quote.

CV Joints & Driveshaft Repair

Our founding specialty since 1979 — and still the repair we're called for most, across every make sold in South Africa.

Signs you need this

  • A clicking or popping sound when turning, especially at low speed
  • A clunk when accelerating or shifting from reverse to drive
  • Vibration through the floor or steering wheel that gets worse with speed
  • Visible grease flung around the inside of a wheel rim — a torn CV boot

We inspect the joint and boot before recommending a full driveshaft replacement. Often the joint or boot alone can be repaired, which costs considerably less and gets you back on the road faster.

Engine Diagnostics & Overhauls

Petrol or diesel, daily runabout or workhorse — we diagnose before we dismantle.

Signs you need this

  • A warning light that won't clear, or keeps returning
  • Loss of power, rough idling, or hesitation under load
  • Unusual knocking, ticking, or smoke from the exhaust
  • Rising fuel consumption with no change in driving habits

Brake Systems

Disc skimming, pad replacement, full system servicing. Nothing about stopping power gets a "should be fine."

Signs you need this

  • Squealing or grinding when braking
  • The car pulls to one side under braking
  • A soft or spongy brake pedal
  • Visible scoring or grooves on the brake discs

We skim discs rather than replace them where the wear allows it — same stopping performance, lower cost. Where replacement is genuinely needed, we'll tell you why.

Clutch & Gearbox Repair

Manual and automatic. Diagnosed properly before anything is opened up.

Signs you need this

  • Clutch pedal feels different — too soft, too high, or slipping under load
  • Grinding or difficulty getting into gear
  • Delayed or jerky shifts in an automatic
  • A burning smell after stop-start traffic

Gearbox work is some of the most expensive a car can need — which is exactly why we diagnose carefully before quoting, rather than quoting before diagnosing.

Auto Electrical Repairs

Air Conditioning Regas & Repair

Pretoria summers don't forgive a weak aircon system.

Signs you need this

  • Airflow that's no longer cold, or takes long to cool down
  • A musty smell when the aircon switches on
  • Unusual noise when the system is running

We check for leaks before simply topping up gas — a regas without a leak check is a temporary fix at best.
